St. John Land Conservancy (SJLC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) community organization dedicated to the preservation of the normal and historic assets of the island of St. John, in the United States Virgin Islands.

Suitable now, on St John, in the United States Virgin Islands, SJLC is quietly doing the job to guard two threatened parcels of land, at Catherinberg and on Bordeaux Mountain, both of which contain important resources for the island. Every parcel is house to native plants, trees, birds and animals. Preserving this land retains the watershed intact and shields the coral reefs.

Major machinery is stripping away tropical forest and all its creatures. Watersheds and views will be irreversibly modified. Endangered species will be missing. Artifacts and ruins lie degrading, getting rid of valuable record in their tale. Gates, walls and signals go up, hardly ever to make it possible for access once again, and shifting the truly feel of the island.

The annual Enjoy for the Land raffle raises crucial funds and, in 2022, lifted above $85,000. The lucky winner last year loved a non-public villa holiday with airfare, boat trips, and nearby eating.
